February 2, 2016 12One Response Bryon Brunkow May 22, 2016 Reply Two things: outline everything, and get a real, physical filing cabinet.Outline everything – your lesson plans, your work schedule, your lists of things to learn and do. That way, when you get stuck on one part, you can skip to another. They also allow you to rapidly shift thinking. If you just can’t deal with test design anymore, look at your outline for new recipes or web design. Outlines also help with keeping track of how much is already done and deadlines.The filing cabinet works for me. If I have a partial lesson plan, on paper, filed with other lesson plans, I can modify other ideas or apply those ideas to new problems. This works with the outlines in keeping track of what’s done or not done, and how far along I am.Adding a little organization to the daily chaos of our lives actually does make things run smoother.Bryon,P.S.
